Celebrations and sadness Zayne and Thomas, Celia and Christian

Next it is the turn of the Hunter Leman family.

Clayton Hunter Leman, the second son of Thomas and Zayne.  Much as his big brother, he is a very cute little fellow.  Clayton had pink hair at first but the tips of Zayne's hair are black and now that's what he has.

Clayton got a new playmate when Marta decided to come and help him with music.

Both Zayne and Thomas are quite dedicated as parents.  They will usually want to teach toddler skills soon after I arrive at the house.

Zayne gives Thomas a few cooking tips.  Since he burnt their breakfast, he can't complain about the tips.

The adorable Leman toddlers until...

Celebration 1 - Derrick has his birthday.  He is taking after his dad.

Now we move from the Leman house to Celia and Christian.  They had twin girls, Jeana and Vickie then a third baby called Camille while I was visiting other households.  Alas, tragedy struck and Vickie has died.
Toddler Jeana

While I was visiting, it was time for Christian, Byron and Camille to have birthdays.
Byron went first

Then Camille grew to toddler
and at some point Christian officially became an adult, but he was thinking about other things

Namely asking Celia to marry him.

She accepted very willingly.

They exchanged rings at a small party.

Mostly their coworkers were in attendance.

Finally the Montgomery family indulges in some synchronized toddler training.

  1. I've discovered I'm a comment junkie. I'm getting anxious due to a complete lack of comments now...

  2. *waves hand in air* I'm here to comment. I've only been home about 30 minutes.

Cute toddler alert! Cute toddler alert! Oh, and cute kid alert! Cute kid alert!

I really hope Thomas listened to the cooking instructions because those pancakes look pitiful.

Maybe being married will help heal their hearts.

    Love the update.

  3. Hey! Sorry, I've got the worst cold I've had in years. This was a nice little lift!

Clayton looks good with his new hair color. I wish it were that easy in real life.

Celia is thrilled with the proposal. With so many young children, a casual wedding is the way to go. I recognize Rainer Knowles watching the ceremony.

Why do I have a bad feeling that they're going to celebrate their nuptials with another baby? No, Celia...just eat a cookie instead!

  4. Hey Dee, glad you sounded both a cute toddler and a cute kid alert. Zayne and Thomas make pretty kids. Celia and Christian make pretty kids. It's all good.

I was thinking about recording Thomas's lack of cooking skills already when Zayne brought up the topic of frying pans. Oh such good timing.

It's kind of weird, other than a spouse, I have yet to see anyone mourn a death unless they see the Reaper right there. Celia and Christian didn't seem bothered at all by missing a toddler. But with all those children, it was time for Christian and Celia to be a real family.

  5. Hey Chrysame, Clayton was another bald toddler with just enough fuzz to tell it was going to be pink. I wish it were so easy to change your hairstyle and color and have it stick *exactly* as long as you want it.

Rainer and Rhoda Bagley (not seen here) were both gate crashers. Rhoda did throw a lot of confetti though.

If Celia and Christian have another baby, it's because *they* did it. Three kids are plenty in a household in my books! Excepting Sammy and Sammy is immune to that in this neighborhood. :)

  6. Take care of yourself and get better Chrysame.

I still can't help but wonder if the baby deaths are a glitch or something strange going on with the game.

After I commented, I went to the forum and got the free items from the store. It's easier to get them directly from the store instead of using that link.

While there I was informed of a patch. I clicked ok without thinking. Hope everything will be ok now. I've been having a problem with the launcher off and on for a while now. Maybe this patch fixed it. It's suppose to.

    Back on topic.

The toddlers and kids really are adorable and cute. In that order.

  7. I completely disagree with you, Dee. The children are cute and adorable in that order!

There's a patch? *slips Celia a piece of cobbler*. Oh, oh. I didn't get to the store to buy the new stuff pack due to my cold. Hopefully, sometime this week. *fingers crossed*

  8. No, it's adorable and cute, in that order. Toddlers adorable and kids cute. :D

The only thing the patch does for me is it's supposed to help with the launcher problems that have been happening with Vista and windows 7.
It is required if the new stuff pack is purchased via direct download and something to do with some problem in WA. Something about burning desk? Also helps with something involving Macs.

I still haven't decided about the stuff pack. I'm waiting to see if others have any problems with it.

  9. I may ignore the patch until I decide about the new SP. SPs are usually low on my buy list but this one is supposed to have a few extra treats so I have to consider it.

My main issue isn't with the Launcher, it's with the stupid EADM. I let it install one update and ever since, I have to ensure it is completely closed and off when I play Sims. If it isn't, I get graphic issues from the start screen and they don't end.

I'm not sure how cute I think young Derrick is but Byron is a handsome fellow. So nice of him to stand in front of his dad so we can see how much they resemble each other.

And little Camille is a doll. I think she's certainly Celia's daughter.

Let's hope that Celia and Christian are done with children for the moment or I may come back to find triplets.

  10. I think they are all sooo adorable... and cute. :)
Poor Chrysame didn't come back with a come back. She must really be feeling bad.

    Don't say that word out loud. *whispers* You know, t r i p l e t s.

  11. If Chrysame's smart, she went to bed again. Best thing for a cold.

As for the T word, if they try that one, I'm skipping them until there are mainly children in the house. That does make twice now that Celia has had twins in my game. Skinny but very fertile girl.

  12. I tried to sleep but it's difficult when you can't breath. I'm waiting for the Nyquil to kick in. I owe you one smartass remark, Dee.

As for fertile Celia, I'm anxious to see how she fares with young Mr. Henry Grant.

Now for some ginger green tea and local honey.

  13. LOL

Celia and Henry "Pretty Boy" Grant - first time one child.

Oh dear god, wait. Celia and Sam - one son and twins. Celia and Christian - one son and twins. Damn, what gender was that child again?

  14. Guess Celia is a very healthy, skinny girl. If I hear a scream coming from the direction of Australia, I'll know what happened.

To Chrysame, southern home remedy. NOT to be taken with Nyquil.
A bottle of Rock n Rye from the liquor store. Recommended by an old country doctor years ago for my son who threw up every cough syrup on the market. Not the whole bottle of course. Just taken like cough syrup.

Any whiskey will do. Mix with lemon juice, honey and rock candy. No rock candy? Use sugar. Make it a little thick with the sugar. Take a few sips and sleep like a baby. Be prepared. It taste horrible.

For the nose. Take a whiff of anything mentholated.

Trust me, it works. I grew up around elders who believed in home remedies.

I'll be waiting for that samrtass remark. I know it's coming.

  15. Muhahahaha!!

    *steals candy*

Darn, I bet I jinxed it now.

  16. I think we have some whiskey in the house. But, I won't try it tonight! My dad used to make something he called onion soup. It involved a lot of onions, a lot of sugar and I can't remember what else. The sugar made it tolerable and it helped us breathe when we had bad colds.

He was an old farm boy from the days when he had to get up to milk the cows before going to school.

I hope I don't forget that I owe you a smartass comment. I'd hate to miss out on one.

  17. From your previous comment, I think the nyquil has kicked in. :)

  18. Ah, Dee. My Dad's favorite night time cough remedy for me was a hot toddy. I had asthma and a chest cold could leave me with quite a hacking cough. The hot water and honey soothed a sore throat. Whiskey to make you sleep. Bit of cinnamon to mask the taste.

It's very effective. He once tried brandy because there was nothing to make a hot toddy with. That was way too strong for me in my pre-teen years.

Chrysame, it will be interesting to see how Celia goes with Henry. They aren't officially attached to each other so who knows what they'll get up to.

  19. Celia will get her man. I hope. *fingers crossed*

Finally, I remembered the onion soup/syrup recipe. It was driving me bonkers. It was onions/sugar and sometimes honey if we had it. He'd mash it together and let it marinate for a few hours or overnight. We'd take the resulting syrup in lieu of cough medicine.

Yep, the nyquil is making me loopy. Not sleepy, though. Bleah.

Hot toddy is an excellent remedy. Hubby's family did a variation of that one.

  20. The son I made that for had asthma. Took shots for all his allergies for several years. I know the kind of cough you are talking about.

  21. Whether or not Celia manages to keep Henry, at least she'll have a cute little baby. Since they are out of the main house, they are on their own for that. :)

I expect that she'll be able to keep Henry though.

  22. About babies' death, even though it's only a glitch but it makes the game more real ;) Clayton and Camille are cute little toddlers.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks MJ. Babies dying is certainly a reality. A little more real then I wanted my game, but it is real.

Almost all Sims 3 toddlers are cute. Not like Sims 2 where you could get some really...interesting ones.
