The SV Times - All Gnus, All the Time

People around town

by Cycl0n3 Sw0rd

Today, our focus is on the Science Lab. There our resident geeks try to improve our lives with their discoveries and inventions.

We have four of the five scientists ready to talk to us today.

Q: Mr Jamison Nevada, what's your roll in the science lab?
A: Still fairly low, I'm in charge of the tours. You wouldn't believe how popular the Test Chamber part of the tour is.

Q: Mr Andrea Carter, what's your roll?
A: Right now? I'm still the main test subject. I can hardly wait for a promotion or two so I'm not the local lab rat.

Q: Rachel Grant, I understand that you and Macy Lee are the main scientists in the lab?
A: Correct, right now, I do most of the genetic research. We've discovered a way to combine genetics from any two Sims to produce a child.

Q: I believe that Ollie and Jack Harkness were clients?
A: Yes, their babies came from the lab. The couple was very happy to receive their babies too. You ever get a hug and kiss from Jack? Unforgettable. I can understand why his side business does so well.

Q: Macy Lee, what is your current role at the lab? And your husband said something about experimenting on one of your own children?
A: We recently were given a time machine to work with. I've been focussed on researching its possibilities. I had set it to take me back just a couple of years in age. I didn't notice that Ralph had followed me to the test chamber and came with me. A couple of years younger for an adult isn't a big deal. But at that age, well, suddenly Ralph was our youngest child.

Q: Did you think about reversing it?
A: We don't know enough. I might have made him our oldest son if I tried.

AJ Anderson Landgraab's long reign as the Llama's most valuable player has ended. Last night, after a stunning performance in the game, Christian Montgomery has claimed the title. We tried to get a few words from Christian but he is always training in the gym or with his family.

Mr Cycl0n3 Sw0rd has been seen getting friendly with one of his new housemates, Ms Tatianna Solez.

Neither Cycl0n3 nor Tatianna were available to comment at this time.

The SV Times - Bringing You the Daily Gnus

People around town

by Cycl0n3 Sw0rd

Hello Mr Leman, Ben Lee suggested that I talk to you.
Hello Cyclone, call me Thomas.

Q: So why did Ben tell me to ask about your wife.
A: The other cops think it's pretty funny. My wife was one of the town burglars. I haven't quite managed to get her to give up her ways but she does give me some hints about what might be happening at the Warehouse.

Q: Do you have a big family?
A: Not that big, just 3. Our daughter Courtney and sons Ernie and Erick. This little one is Erick.

Q: But how can you balance three kids and a job?
A: Cyclone, you just do it. Twyla works nights so I take care of the kids then and she watches over them during the day.

Q: How do you like police work?
A: It's mostly good. It does have some downers, we have to take calls at all hours. But this town needs police, have you heard about the corruption in city hall?

Next we visited the home of Antonio Portobella and his girlfriend Autumn.
Q: So Antonio, what attracted you to the police.
A: A chance to do good and help the pretty ladies around town.

Q: Did it work?
A: Do you not see the beautiful Autumn? My girlfriend and the mother of my daughter Patricia.

Q: Autumn, I know you're not still delivering pizzas around town.
A: No, I've joined the newspaper too. Watch out Cyclone, I'll be after your job sometime.

Cops must get decent pay in town. This is the house that Antonio and Autumn live in.

Social Scene

Twyla Leman retired from work today. She and her coworkers had a small celebration of the event.

Why Carolina thought a Bigfoot placard was called for is a mystery.

The SV Times - Printing the Freshest Gnus Around

People around town

by Cycl0n3 Sw0rd

We continue our profile of the town police. Today we move to Benjamin Lee, another of our top cops.

Q: Phillip Grant tells us that you're working a sensitive case. Can you reveal anything?
A: Well, nothing more than I've been to the Warehouse a few times, that's about all I can tell you.

Q: Tell me about your family.
A: I have a lovely wife Macy and three boys; David, Ralph and Jeremiah.

Q: So that toddler must be Jeremiah?
A: You have to talk to Macy about that. Jeremiah was our last baby. And yet, somehow he's now the middle child and Ralph is our baby.

Q: Macy?
A: She and Rachel have been spending a lot of time in the Science lab. I don't quite know what's up but I have proof they have some interesting experiments going on.

Well, if that was Ralph, these must be David and Jeremiah. Too many red heads in this family to keep them all straight.

Q: Jeremiah, not playing cops and robbers?
A: No way man. Business is the future.

Q: Not planning on doing your dad's job?
A: Long hours and low pay? Do I look crazy?

I did have a chat with Macy and Rachel, which we will be covering later during our review of the Science lab. I also asked Ben to recommend which other cops to talk to. "Well, be sure to interview Thomas Leman. He's a good cop. Be sure to ask about his wife. (laugh) And the newcomer Antonio Portobella is worth a chat too."

Pauline Wan divorces again. Her second husband Kane grew tired of the revolving door policy that the local bike employs. Her first husband - well known athlete Christian Montgomery had this to say. "Only a damn fool would get married to that woman. I wish I hadn't been one."

Star reporter Cycl0n3 Sw0rd has divorced Emma Hatch. The couple cites irreconcilable differences, primarily over food. Since the couple have no children, a quick settlement is expected.

The SV Times - We print the Gnus you make

People around town

by Cycl0n3 Sw0rd

Instead of interviewing the other power broker in town, today we look at one of the newest recruits to the business world, Jack Harkness. Quite frankly, I've met Thornton and he is in real need of a personality transplant.

Q: So far, I've interviewed Nancy Landgraab and Nick Alto - the top of the business career.
A: I'm not the bottom of the barrel, but it's a long way to the top from here. They refer to us as the drones.

The SV Times - We Print All the Gnus

People around town

by Cycl0n3 Sw0rd

Part 2 of our focus on the business folk. Today we visit the Alto family. Unfortunately Nick Alto wasn't home when I arrived however Vita graciously agreed to an interview.

Q: The question that comes to mind having just come here is why is the house such a bright pink?
A: When Nick noticed this house is within view of that snobby Nancy's place, he wanted to make our house extremely noticeable.

Q: So the house is pink just to irritate Nancy Landgraab?
A: Yes, yes it is.

The SV Times - All the Gnus that Fit, We Print

People around town

by Cycl0n3 Sw0rd

The focus this week are our business folk. In Sunset Valley, we have 3 Power Brokers; Nancy Landgraab, Nick Alto and Thornton Wolff. Today we visit the Landgraab family.

Q: Nancy, I understand that your family founded this town.
A: Yes, Cycl0n3. My family has been building this town for 3 generations now. Before the Landgraabs settled here, it was a public beach with a single shop. Our influence has made it into a thriving town.
