Meeting the new neighbors
I've been asked to introduce to some of the other households that moved in about the time that we did.
Here are the housemates from house one.
This is Susie, talking to Sierra. I've been told Sierra was hit hard by the great failure of Store content - I have no idea what that means. Susie is quite cute, I must introduce myself sometime.
Christi, one of Suzie's housemates.
Angelo is another.
Jerod is the final housemate of that house. He seems a bit confused by life. He is a couch potato but he wants to be a doctor, one of the most active professions that I know.
Here are the people living in the house on the other side of us.
Marta Tomasi meeting Ripley. There is something odd about the two of them meeting like this, I need to think about what it might be.
Rachel, a very bright chick. Lots of potential here.
Tyler, a happy-go-lucky sort of a fellow.
Wyatt rounds out this household.

Sierra and a couple of other girls have been checking out Thomas Leman. He thinks he's hot with that bad boy outfit. I'll have to show him, but I better work on my charisma. I'll charm every one of his girls.

"great failure of Store content" sounds a little like a wall street collapse. They do all still look good but I am sure you want your store content back.

Yes Wyatt has hair and is living with Marta. I've helped that household establish the right jobs now we'll see how they go.
ReplyDeleteGreat failure of Store content was indeed meant to sound like a natural catastrophe. For the moment, I've decided that I can learn to live without the store stuff.
Now, do we tell Phillip that Rachel is actually his grandmother in a parallel reality? Cause he's finding her very interesting. :)
You forgot to say hi to Christi, she's one of yours too.
I like Sierra's outfit and hair. There are lots of newcomers with familiar faces. Hope you will get your store content back.

ReplyDeleteAw, I wouldn't worry too much about those relations from former games. That's the parallel thing. Different world. It might be a little confusing though. Probably more for you than for us.
I would not have recognized Sierra.
I saw Phillip in the exchange today. If you don't mind I might download and put him in Sunset Valley, in Dreams Upon a Pillow game, as a non-playable since the only Town Casanova there is Gobias Koffi, Lol.

ReplyDeleteThomas and his bad boy clothes! Heehee. Phillip better work on his skills if he's going to beat Thomas' time with the ladies. Practice, practice, practice. I don't think Phillip will mind chatting up all the cute single female sims in order to raise his charisma. A sims gotta do what a sims gotta do.

ReplyDeleteYes, because Phillip and Rachel have been in the bin as individuals, he has no idea that she was his grandmother in an alternate reality. Since his life wish is being the boyfriend of 10 different Sims, I think he'll move on before they get too involved.
And please do take Phillip to be the town casanova. He'll be much better at it then Koffi. :) He has now been downloaded more often then his daddy Indiana.
Hey Chrysame, I was tired of classic Thomas clothes and decided that he needed something very different in 'honor' of his appointment as Casanova. So it was either lounge lizard or bad boy. He may have a serious change after his next age up to lounge lizard but for now, it's bad boy. Phillip does have his work cut out for him.

Oh, and Dee, I agree about Sierra. Without her normal hairstyle or her normal clothes, it's hard to spot her. This will take some getting used to.

ReplyDeleteI tried playing today but it gets frustrating when every other save I just exit out of the game completely. And if I don't save often I'll lose too much. It's difficult getting anything accomplished.
As long as you don't mind ginger males. I still remember a thread in the forums from a bunch of people who hate carrot-tops.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that your game is being unstable again. Saving frequently is usually a good idea but if it exits not saving, that would be very frustrating.
I remember that thread. How can someone not like a redhead? I meant to tell you that Hugo's youngest kids in my game have red hair like their granddaddy, Thomas. That made me very happy.

I agree with Chrysame. How can someone not like a redhead? However, it is their preference, can't blame them either. I just hope in real life, discrimination will be far less.
ReplyDeleteI am having difficulties in playing the game too. The chances of have to start all over again are more likely now. I have to save frequently in order not to freak out. I will put Phillip, he is more suitable for the title ;)

ReplyDeleteAs for the red head thing, I don't understand it but you might guess that since Thomas is not only one of my creations but he always gets into the neighborhood sooner or later.

I'm glad Phillip is making an impression with everyone. Though you can also use Thomas, my flirty red head. He is used to both being the main character in a game and being in the background to be whatever is needed. :)

ReplyDeleteHow do you keep up with three blogs? I am already exhausted myself. Moreover, because of crashes that happen sometimes, making me go nuts.
