Backlot Studios have produced many fine films including "Sims in the City", "Twelve Angry Sims", "Desperate Times" and "Simville". The executives of the studio have said, "We love the locale of Sunset Valley. We should be able to do far more location shoots then we can in the big cities. And the mayor offered us a tax incentive that we couldn't refuse."
The mayor refused to comment on any incentives offered to the studio to build in the city.
The studio is looking to hire local talent for both in front of the camera and behind it. Trina Sw0rd was one of the first local residents to be employed by the studio. "It's an exciting new career opportunity. I'm looking forward to working in the studio," said Mrs Sw0rd.

It is with sadness that this reporter must inform the readers of the death of Ms AJ Landgraab nee Anderson. Ms Landgraab was a well known figure in town, having been the team captain of the Llamas for the past several seasons.
"Mom was a good soul. She worked hard for the Llamas but she worked hard for the family too. We'll all miss her."
Representatives of the Llamas have said that the team will mourn the loss of their captain. Unfortunately there is a game scheduled for tomorrow night and whether the team can pull itself together in time to trounce the Tigers has yet to be seen.

In other news, a fire has claimed the lives of a local family. Jared Frio, his wife and daughter were killed in their home last night. Connor Frio was distraught when he heard of his brother's untimely demise. "He may have been a right bas***d, but he was the only family I had." Funeral arrangements will be announced soon.

ReplyDeleteUnlike Jared who I was just tired of. Never took a picture of him or his poor family. They only rated a mention because I did visit Connor and I was surprised to find that Connor was officially saddened by death. So I moved Dee's Alicia in with Connor so he'll have a friend and Alicia has help with her daughter.
The pub is from sue_d_nim. I did a few very minor tweaks like adding a bar section that a mixologist will tend. But very few tweaks.
Hmm, it's actually my imagination getting more exercise cause you can only do so much that's true to the game. :)
For the record, helping AJ celebrate retirement was Erick Leman, her son Malcolm, Tori Sekemoto, Annabelle Grant and Bradley Kane.
So long AJ. You had a nice long life and it was time for your to go....but.....did you have to go and spoil the birthday?

ReplyDeleteAlicia has actually been pretty good. After she ditched Jon Marsh, she just stayed on her own. She did have a romantic interest in AJ's son Malcolm. Since he is still a young adult and she is nearly an elder, I decided to push her to being great friends with Connor and in his house. Malcolm has a new girlfriend, someone with a bit of a temper but at least she is his age.
Wow. Alicia being good. That's a new twist to Alicia. Haha. I see she tried to latch onto a young buck before though. Sort of like AJ and her young buck. :D
