The management of the SV Times would like to apologize for the previous edition of the paper. Apparently some glitch in the system corrupted the files just before going to print. We would like to thank our technical team for correcting the problems.

The top story of the day is a city tragedy. Cornelia Goth, one of the founders of our city, has passed on. She is survived by her children Mortimer and Rena Goth and a grandson Seth.
"We'll all miss her," sobbed Mortimer. "She's been the rock for this family and her passing will leave a huge hole in our lives."
This reporter was unable to get any comments from Rena, she was too distraught to answer her phone.
Pauline Wan has reached the pinnacle of her music career, a movie music composer.
"I've been asked to compose new music for the next three films from Backlot Studios. It's a challenge, they are producing a comedy, an action thriller and a story set in Victorian Simola. That's going to require some different styles and they set some tight deadlines."
There was another protest outside city hall today. The city residents demand that unicorns be brought into the city immediately.
"They are beautiful and a symbol of purity" exclaimed Trina Sw0rd.

Daniel Landgraab and Debbie Lessen's relationship is currently in doubt after the couple were found arguing outside the local diner. Apparently Miss Lessen was less than impressed by the choice of restaurants her boyfriend was willing to take her to.
Dion Wolff wasn't paying attention when he kissed Courtney Leman in the park. The kiss was witnessed by the Hunter-Bodette girls, both of whom were romantically interested in Dion.
Jerod Hunter-Bodette asked the boy to their house.
Jerod proceeded to tell Dion what he thought of boys that break the hearts of his daughters.
Both Nandine and Joanne were devastated to find that they shared one boy with each other and a third girl.
Nandine first told Dion it was over between them.
Her sister Joanne followed suit soon after.
Okay, two posts in one day, that's... brilliant! - only a minor (and by purpose) typos, I guess..but those were so funny.
ReplyDeleteIt feel like reading obituary and gossips news :)
Feel bad for Cornelia, though.
Aww... Cyclone is becoming a father again.
Wait a minute, wasn't Nandine with Chaim...
Aah.. these teenage and their hormones are really confusing, aren't they? ;)
They were indeed minor but by purpose changes to the daily news. And I made sure that there was an hour between the issues, time for the paper to restore the correct news.
ReplyDeleteI fear that gossip and OBs are the main news in SV. Plus the occasional birth. :)
Nandine had romantic interests in Chaim and Dion.
Her sister Joanne had romantic interests in Trent and Dion.
Dion had interests in Nandine and Joanne and Courtney Leman. He's down to one and so are each of the girls.
Cornelia was 100 days old. She lived very long and well.
Hahahahaha--this is priceless. So, who was responsible for the "errors"? Cyclone? Another reporter? lol
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I like the tainted version better; the snide comments about Pauline, calling Meredith 'lovely', how the Goth could be bothered answering her phone... I keep flipping back between the two trying to pinpoint all the differences.
"Teenage hormones should be outlawed and all teens sealed into a barrel until the age of 25."
So true. Especially with these teens... Eish! Are they having issues or what?! Hahaha.
Really cute, PiB. You're doing a great job keeping this journalistic blog entertaining. :D
Next post will reveal what happened. When I get around to it, the truth shall out.
ReplyDeleteGlad you found the tainted version entertaining.
When a boy turns 13, seal him in a barrel and feed him through a knot hole.
ReplyDeleteWhen he turns 16, plug up the hole.
- Mark Twain
Oooo. The *truth*, huh? :D Haha, I can't wait to read.
ReplyDeleteI wonder... *scratches chin* I actually have a small theory. Probably very wrong--but I'll wait until you've posted the next post to share my thoughts. ;D
Also... Mark Twain, that's *mean*. And yet, probably smart in some cases. :P
I should hope you have a theory. I left clues. Not big shouty "I am a clue here" clues (well, I hope not) but there should be some hints.
ReplyDeleteMark Twain, you gotta love some of his quotes. Good stuff.
Awwww, poor Cornelia. Then again maybe not. She was probably ready to go at her age.
ReplyDeleteI am still loving the gnus. It's fun reading about all the sims in town from a newspaper. :)
Another one I feel sorry for is Carolina's new baby. Poor kid. :D
Ahhhh, teenagers. Can't live with 'em. Can't live without 'em. It's a good thing parents were once teenagers.
Poor Cornelia and her poor boy toy second husband who mysteriously died seconds after she did. And I aged AJ's boy toy to death recently as well. Neighborhood has plenty of Sims, remove a few randoms. :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting that you should say that cause I was wondering if I had bored everyone silly yet with this and need to reset to something different.
Carolina may not be the best mum in the world, that much is certain. His dad might be ok.
:) Teenage drama and hormones everywhere.
I have never been bored with reading this news. I love the way you are reporting. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Dee. The format restricts some things but makes some other things way way easier.
ReplyDeleteI feel sooo behind in reading blogs! But I just wanted to say I love the gnus!! Great concept :)
ReplyDeleteThanks KaiSim. I'm glad you like the gnus.
