The Sunset Valley Landgraab Science Facility - midnight

Mr Kane, thank you for coming. We need to chat.

Your invitation didn't really allow for a refusal did it? Science Lab, midnight, be there or regret the consequences?

True, we were most anxious to talk to you, Mr Kane. Should we introduce ourselves? I'm Macy Lee.

And I am Rachel Grant. You've met our husbands Phillip and Ben. The two of us feel that we need to put a proposal to you. Please, have a seat.

Those are your husbands? [grrrr] What sort of a proposal do you think I'd listen to from you?

Oh yes, a proposal. We understand that you are more than a bit peeved with both our husbands right now.

In fact, we don't blame you for that. You were demoted as a direct result of what the boys did.

But we can't let you go on.

The trick with the bank accounts was cute. However, we need money to buy food for the table, books for the kids.

And pay for their lessons. Having 5 simoleons left in the account was very inconvenient for the family.

Bank trick? I haven't a clue what you mean.

Don't be cute Mr Kane. We have the records of your recent net traffic.

Who do you think runs and maintains the network in Sunset Valley? By the way, do you prefer Jebidiah or Blackjack Kane?

Oh. Damn. You've been digging.

Yes, Mr Kane, we have been digging very deep. Setting up a different version of the daily news was quite good.

In fact, we approve. We've told Connor for years that he needed more security around his system. You've proven that nicely.

We've also seen the next edition you have planned.

That's why you are here. That cannot be allowed to print. Ever.

I didn't start a feud.

We know. We were hoping that you and the boys would burn out soon. But you are adding fuel to the flames and we can't let it happen.

How do you plan to stop me?

Why Jebidiah, we thought you might not like the consequences of your actions.

You see, if you print that, we are going to have to send copies of some of your more 'interesting' files from your computer to the police and the press.

Ha, I'll say you've planted evidence.

It wasn't us. We set the task for Andrea. He's clever, persistent as hell and not involved in this.

We told him it was a training exercise. He doesn't know what he found was real.

We do have a few other possibilities in mind.

Such as if you don't agree to cooperate before you leave here, we are going to leave a basket of quads on your doorstep. With ironclad proof that they are all your babies.

We haven't yet agreed on the second parent. Rachel says Meredith but I'm more inclined to use Harkness genetics. Jack and Ollie have been good clients, I'm sure they won't mind. We might tell Jack to pop by, check that the kids are ok. Won't you love having the neighbors see the town's infamous bi-sex gigolo around regularly?

Four babies would keep you very very busy until well after our husbands retire. Just think of the mountain of diapers. Sleepless nights. Maybe all girls so once they learn to talk, you'll never be free from their chatter.

Blackmail, ladies?

Oh yes, you could call it that.
We could also prevent your computer from ever accessing the network again.

Explain to your boys why they can't play World of Simcraft any more.

We have a winning hand, Kane. But we don't want to use it.

If you swear that you'll leave our families alone, this is the end.

We simply want you to stop. Now.

Unless you break that oath. You break it, and we'll break you.

Ladies, why did you give me this chance?

We researched what Terence had said originally. In your own way, you truly were protecting the city from outside sharks and contributing to the economy. You did lose that position, the city may regret it.

So we agreed to give you a chance. You in?

How could I refuse an offer from such a pair of lovely and rather determined ladies? Yes, I'll lay off them but only if your husbands don't come sniffing around me and mine again. If they do, that is asking for trouble.

Agreed. They'll be looking into cases though, they are cops after all. You'll try to keep them from looking your way?

Agreed. I won't stir unnecessarily. That was my mistake, I was over confident when talking to that reporter.

  1. Aaa ahahahahaha. YES. I knew it! BAD JEB. Bad, bad bad.

I think the definite clue that it was Jeb messing with the newspaper was how he called Meredith 'lovely'... I was pretty sure the other stuff was him, but I didn't put 2 and 2 together til I really thought about it.

So, what was in this other newspaper he was planning on having printed? I'm cuuurriouuss.. What's so bad that they didn't want in the papers?

Seriously, though, that's some pretty... interesting... blackmail. XD Trust two gals from the science facility to come up with baby clones as a threat. My lord, haha!

Very, very funny, PiB. Jeb will make you pay for this. Someday. Well. ... Actually. Perhaps quite soon. He knows where all your Sims live... >:D

What a hoot. ;D Gonna be laughing about this one for a while.

  2. I rated you at a 95% probability of being right when you said you had a theory. And Meredith being lovely was the biggest clue

He was planning on an edition of the paper that would get his opponents fired at least and in jail would have been better. Not true but he's quite capable of fabricating evidence.

4 babies. Can you imagine poor Jeb and Mere with four babies?

Jeb promised to be good - at least to the Lee and Grant families. Won't he keep his word?

Created the girls a lab room and it will never be seen again. What you do sometimes...

  3. Heh heh. Well, I'm glad Jeb was able to cause a bit of ruckus, and still manage to keep himself outta jail. Good boy. No prison for yoo!

... And no more babies. I'm not sure how old he is in this game, but he can't be at a point where quadruplets is really something he could manage well. Besides, poor Meredith would get stuck with a ton of grunt work, too--he'd never put her through that. XD Hopefully.

I imagine he'd keep his word under those circumstances... But, ya never know. Who knows what lies in the mind of PiB?

Trust me, creating sets that only get used once is one thing I find kinda sad, but it's usually worth the effort. I actually built a bunch of sets under some of the rabbit holes in Twinbrook for later usage (a science complex under the science lab, hospital, still working on the criminal HQ and the police station), and some of them I may never even use. I like having them, though. They can really be fun to make. :)

  4. :) given that I couldn't actually *keep* him contained anywhere...he didn't get jailed.

Not that old really. Brad's still a child - a bit older than your season 2 download but not that much. This game goes very slowly due to the way I can use one day to build two papers sometimes. But he and Meredith would hate to have 4 babies - they'd be confined to the house for a long time.

How the heck do you build rooms under the rabbit holes?

I did keep John Edward's little holding cell. May be useful again some day.

  5. 4 babies is still a lot for two people to manage. XD And with Brad not a teen, they'd only have Travis to help, heh.

How do you build rooms under rabbit holes? Very carefully!

Actually, you just use the basement tool and make sure you can place a staircase somewhere right to the side of the rabbithole. I don't have stairs to all of them, though, to prevent too many people from dallying on those lots... Have to teleport in.

Wait. Is his name seriously John Edwards? lol. XD

  6. Rachel knows. She surely remembers her clone raising one toddler and 3 babies with Sammy. :) But, she had Sammy.

Glad to hear about how to add rooms to a rabbit hole.

No, his name is John Edward. There was a ' before the s. :)

  7. OMG! Quads! That's more cruel than beating him up or something. No! Not Quads!ROFLMAO
You best behave yourself Mr. Jeb.

  8. Quads == we are emphasizing our point. Very much so.

Jeb should appreciate that the girls were just interested in ending the feud before it started seriously wrecking the families. They knew a lot of what he had done lately but they aren't going to tell anyone unless he makes a bad move. :)
