So what's new in Riverview?

In the Marsh household, Dexter did some bonding with his little sister Josie

who soon after grew to be an adorable girl

And Jon Marsh can pull in the crowds when he plays.  In fact, he was here all day even after I switched households a few times.

And here's one of the new neighbors.  His name is Clover Hill from  Sidonzo.   I'd just put him in this house and here he is making friends with Marcy Leman.

Dugan and Sarah are still working their way up the culinary career.  I've left them completely on free will and  I think they need some shoving along.  They are leading very dull lives.

Another new arrival on the scene is Sam Grant.  He's doing the rounds, getting acquainted with a few people namely Sarah now that she's off work.

Behind Sam is another of the new arrivals, Celia Pendragon.

Zayne Hunter is also in town but she hasn't put in an appearance yet.

Samantha Simself is now Samantha Shallow.  She and Dallas Shallow have a baby girl Cheri

And Thomas Leman experimented on one too many objects

Hey, Tom, the bed isn't meant to literally be smoking.

  1. Good morning. Don't know what time it is there but it's morning here.

Tanya and Jon's kids turned out great.
It's nice to see the old crowd and the newcomers.
Jon always did love that guitar. Bet he's making some good $'s in tips now.

Curious to see who Sammy ends up with in this one. We know he's going to end up with someone.

I miss the way Riverview is set up. Everything is so close together that it makes it easy to send them places.

"Laughing"Poor Thomas. Looks like he was tired of cold sheets.

  2. Actually, I don't think the Riverview crowd has any ugly children yet. But I could be slightly prejudice about them.

I agree about Sam. This will be his first free will on this computer and I'm curious at to what he'll get up to. There are a pile of girls around including those that are teen but nearly grown. Not to mention Zayne and Celia.

I'm having lots of fun having Thomas try experimenting on things. Science has all the fun. :)

I've pretty much decided that AJ and Malcolm will be the family I'll play with aging and story progression on. I'm hoping that way I get to see a bit more of their lives in each stage.

  3. I really enjoyed seeing Sam in a new setting. I laughed when I saw Celia standing behind him as if she's following him. It should be interesting to see who he ends up with this time around!

I haven't been able to play for a few days. I have a sick daughter at home with the flu. The cats seem to enjoy having her here with them. They're taking turns laying with her as if they're watching her.

I'm looking forward to more in the adventures of our Sims!

  4. Hope your dsughter gets better soon. I remember when mine were kids and they got sick. I always wished it was me instead of them. Our pets sense these things. They want to make her feel better.

  5. PiB, I wish I had thought to turn story progression off when I was traveling around. Alicia wouldn't have a baby yet if I had. My curiousity got the better of me and I just had to move the baby in.

  6. Pets do know when people are feeling bad. Both illness and just bad moods. Our dogs are like that too, they will stay particularly close if one of us is feeling bad. I do hope your daughter gets well soon.

Dee, I'll let you know if random events still happen around town (that I notice) with story progression and aging both off. There are two things that I'm glad I'll have a chance to do.

    1) age up Grandpa Muleskinner's baby before he meets the reaper.

    2) I think the Lessen family is going to throw a dual birthday party. It's about time for Dustin and his girlfriend Tracy Marsh to both get to young adult. Post birthday, have them flirt a little then it will be time to go back to story progression and aging. See how they go. Of course, if they haven't decided completely on each other, there will be all those new Sims in the hood available. :-)

  7. I'll be watching to see what happens. I am interested to know about what happens with story progression and aging off. They are supposed to just live and that's it, but who knows.
I still have grandpa in the sim bin but next time I put him into a game, I am going to download him again so I can age him back to young adult or adult so he will live longer.

  8. I think I still have him in CAS as well as the Sim bin so I can play with age before adding again.

I spent some time setting up the background neighborhood for the Sammy stories. Now the gang is in the neighborhood, they may be called on to be victims or the love interest or the villain in future episodes. I have at least 3 plots in mind for episodes, the next one requires a villain and 3 or 4 victims.

Dang, I still haven't added Jon Lessen.
